尾道と言えばお寺、千光寺と言えば桜、場所探しに苦労したが桜の木々と
天寧寺の塔、尾道水道と瀬戸内の島々が春霞にかすんだ春らしい作品に仕上げることが出来、題名を「春うらら」とした

Senji Maehara

Onomichi is about temples, and Senkoji Temple is about cherry blossoms. Though I struggled to find the right place, I was drawn to create this spring-themed work by the sights of the cherry trees with the tower of Tenneiji Temple, the Onomichi Suido, and the islands of the Seto Inland Sea. I titled this work “Peaceful spring moment”.
