With help from a friend who studied under one of my favorite painters, Wasaku Kobayashi, I first came with my wife to visit Onomichi, where I sketched Mt. Senkoji as seen from the town. I always feel inspired by the Onomichi with its atmosphere and feeling of translucence as it changes with the seasons.
