グランプリを賜りましたことを光栄に存じます。
絵画グループ（クロッキー同好会）の仲間達と尾道を訪れスケッチしたことが始まりで、その後幾度か足を運ぶうち、街の風景・歴史・文化に触れスケッチを重ねる中で多くを知ることが出来ました。
御当地公募展にて、このような評価をいただき、この上ない喜びです。
これからも、更に新しい発見を体験したいと思います。

I am honored to be selected as a Grand Prix winner.
I first came to Onomichi to sketch together with my colleagues in our painting group (Croquet Club). As I later came to visit and sketch several more times, I learned a great deal about the city through encounters with its landscape, history and culture.
It is such a great pleasure to receive a prize like this at such a local contest.
I hope to continue to experience more new discoveries in the future.
